How to Make Croque-Monsieur Tortillas

Serving: 1 (increase ingredients per servings needed)
You can increase ingredients to your liking, such as, more cheese or ham etc.
INGREDIENTS:
1 white flour tortilla
Dab butter, room temperature
Dab of mustard
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Ground black pepper
1/8 cup grated swiss cheese
2 thinly sliced pieces of Black Forest Ham
1/8 cup grated swiss cheese
Chopped parsley, for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat tortilla in a skillet just until lightly toasted.
2. Flip tortilla over.
3. Heat until lightly toasted.
4. Place tortilla onto a rack or pizza pan. (the holes prevent sogginess)
5. Brush tortilla lightly with butter (including the edges).
6. Spread mustard over tortilla.
7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
8. Sprinkle swiss cheese over tortilla.
9. Lay two pieces of Black Forest Ham over tortilla.
10. Sprinkle with more swiss cheese.
11. Garnish with parsley.
12. Place pan in oven. (top rack of oven).
13. BROIL until cheese melts. Keep an eye on it!
14. Remove from oven.
15. Cut in wedges using a pizza cutter.
16. Plate it and serve with a cold beer, such as Stella Artois.
