이다희 작가 Lee, Da-hee artist's Interview (1st-part) International 2011 미국 국제초대전_ 미국 뉴멕시코주 앨버커키 Pack Fine Art 2011 슈퍼판타지전_ 인사동 갤러리 스카이연 이 세상엔 인간만이 가질 수 있는 '감정의 특권'이 존재한다고 생각한다. 한계선이나 제한이 없는 인간의 감정이 바로 그러하다. 이에 입각하여 단편적이거나 1차원적인 감정이 아닌, 복합적이고 다각적인 관점으로 접근하여 인간이 지닌 모순적이며 양면적인 감정을 표현하려 한다. 단지 괴로워하는 인간, 즐거워하는 단편적인 인간의 모습이 아닌 깊은 슬픔 속에서도 안락함을 느끼는 인간, 눈물을 흘리면서 웃고 있는 인간 등...... 복합적이고 모순적인 동시에 감정의 혼돈 속에 허우적 되고 있는 인간상이 나의 작품 속 인물이자 주인공이 되는 것이다. 이의 연장선상으로써 나의 작품 속 인물들은 모두 나 자신인 동시에 작품을 바라보는 그 누군가가 되어 있을, 혹은 될 것이다. 이를 통하여 자신 안에 싶게 내재되어 있는 다양한 감정들을 일깨워 얻어 나아가길 바라며 그 작품을 해석하고 받아들이는 것 또한 오롯이 개인의 느낌과 사상에 맡겨져야 한다고 생각한다. 작품을 접함으로써 느끼는 것 은 매우 복합적이고 다층적인 동시에 지극히 개인적인 것이기 때문이다. 자신이 느끼는 감정에 충실해 작품을 받아들이는 것이 그 어떠한 것보다 우선시 되어야 한다고 생각한다. I think in the world there exists an emotional privilege only human can have. Boundary line or limited man's emotion is kinds of examples. Applying this point, I try to show and express the ironic and both-sides emotion with more complex and different points, not one-dimensional point. These are not only picture of suffering of joyful person but also feeling safety while in deep sorrow or smiling while crying or etc.,. These are how to be a complex character who gets frustration and depends on the frustration in my stuffs. For more joint, all characters seem to look at myself and someone maybe looking at my stuff or it is. So I hope people try to accept and deeply dig up what the stuffs are talking about. Through stuff the emotions people get are extremely personal and It includes many ways to see.
