I include goals being scored on me for the pure fact that if I showed you just the saves I made, it would get me nowhere close to where I want to be, I MAKE MISTAKES I am a student to the goaltending world that is ever expanding with improvements everyday.
I Have never had a coach or a mentor help me with developing my goaltending abilities, I played on a High School varsity team focused on purely scoring with no attention to the goalies. I have studied the goaltending position since becoming a goalie in my freshman year of high school. I'm at a point where I won't give up yet because I know what I am capable of and my dream just isn't lost yet. Any help or pointers would mean the world to me that someone is paying attention and is willing to help me. I'm just 22 yrs old and have received many compliments of my play but that's as far as motivation has gone for me. I am working off the ice to improve who I am and any extra help like I said would mean the world to me.
***Notes***
-The gear I am wearing is the TPS Summit Plus goalie set, And I don't like the way the gear is after having it awhile. Taking stingers to the hand seems to happen more often and the puck has bounced out of my glove on occasion as well. Also the pads are a 37+1 Single break at the knee and this ended up not working out for me as I have since learned a double break would be more beneficial for me and by B-Fly style.
-The Voices you will hear during the video are of my sisters watching me play, some of the stuff they say I feel added some humor to the video so I left it in there.
-Yes this isn't the most exciting video of saves but I think I made a fair amount of positional saves in this video along with not allowing anything past me.
-Yes this is D league hockey, but I am trying to get into shape and move up some divisions.
-Yes my blocker is really low because I have broken 4 sticks in the last month so I could only find a 25in Sher-wood which is wayyy too small for my height (6'1 tall)
-This video is here for people to watch and ridicule me so if you see anything I may need to improve PLEASE comment below.
Thanks for reading.
