Mentor Multiplex FPV

This is a "montage" of my 5th flight. The plane is a Mentor, by Multiplex, it's great for beginners like me. The camera is a HobbyKing HD Wing Camera, cheap but the videos are nice. I installed the Mentor propulsion set, with a LiPo battery, 3S, 3600mAh, which gives me up to 15 min of flight.

He did it with the aid of a specially designed "wingsuit": a contraption that, on land, makes Gary look like a flying squirrel, but in the air allowed him to come closer to natural flight than a human being has probably ever come. Two test jumps later and he was hovering 2400 feet above the ground in a helicopter, preparing to make stunt history. To succeed, he would need to leap from the aircraft, then guide his suit like a magic carpet down to earth, where a giant landing strip of 18600 cardboard boxes, 350 feet long, 50 feet wide and 12 feet had been constructed for him, nearly a mile from the jump site. During the test jumps he released his parachute just before landing. This final time, it was just him, the wingsuit and a lot of clear blue sky. Organisers estimated that Connery would be hitting the boxes at 50mph. "No-one's ever done this before," said Connery. "So we don't really know what's going to happen but I've got every confidence in the boxes." Good news! Renault will unleash this 400bhp mid-engined Alpine sports car concept around the Monaco GP circuit on Friday. More good news! It's going into production. Almost definitely. Probably. Bad news! At this stage, we can only show you this one grainy picture which leaked onto the internet today. But Top Gear can reveal world-exclusive details on the A110-50, with a whole lot more to come on Friday. Here's the official line: the A110-50 simply celebrates 50 years since the introduction of the Alpine A110, the legendary Renault-engined sports car of the Sixties and Seventies that won the inaugural World Rally Championship in 1973. If you've never heard of Alpine, shame on you: founded in 1955, the French company built its name on a succession of beautiful, lightweight sports cars that used Renault engines. Incorporated into the Renault mothership in the 1970s, Alpine won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1978 before the name was abandoned in the early 1990s. A name worthy of revival then, and, after the marketing flop that was the reintroduction of Gordini - a bit of blue paint and a few decals on RS hot hatches - Renault is determined to treat Alpine with respect. Which means this is no it'll-never-happen concept: the A110-50 previews a future mid-engined Renault sports car that, with a fair following wind, WILL enter production.
