Shannon McArthur remains true to his Carolina upbringing, while breaking into the Hollywood Scene of Los Angeles, CA. While teaching online guitar across the nation via Skype and FaceTime through his company www.stringandfretguitaracademy.com , McArthur continues to write songs regularly. With roots in emo-punk music, McArthur branched out to acoustic pop in 2005. His singles, "Chasing You" and "Nervous wreck at Best" were recently aired on MTV's "16 and Pregnant"; and his song, "Anywhere You Want" aired on "10 on Top", leading to furthered popularity amongst pop-cultured teens. His melody-based acoustic pop landed him positions in Chapel Hill's undergraduate spring rock concerts (for headliners Carbon Leaf and The Blue Dogs), these performances led to McArthur instantly becoming a campus star, he was invited to perform on the university television station amongst the other 20+ campus events he headlined. In 2008, his song "Side to Side" received airplay on G105 in Raleigh, NC which led to his playing at Carolina Hope Festival (Cary, North Carolina) featuring Colbie Caillat & Edwin McCain. His cable television debut came on the Greenville, North Carolina public television station as a segment in their weekly folk music program. Roshan Andrews has signed up Prithviraj as his hero for his new film titled Mumbai Police. The pooja of the film and the launch of Roshan's new banner 1000AD was held last Friday (Dec 17) at the Ramada Hotel, near the backwaters in Kochi. Prithviraj and hot and happening Tamil actor Arya are playing cops in this action packed entertainer written by Roshan favourites Bobby and Sanjay. There will be three heroines in the movie. Roshan is planning to conduct a talent hunt for finalising his heroines. The shooting of Mumbai Police has been tentatively scheduled to start by June and will be released for Christmas 2011.

Bizet Georges Bizet was born at 26 rue de la Tour d'Auvergne in the 9th arrondissement of Paris in 1838. He was named Georges Alexandre César Léopold Bizet, but he was always known thereafter as Georges Bizet. His father Adolphe Armand Bizet (1810--86) was an amateur singer and composer, and his mother, Aimée Léopoldine Joséphine née Delsarte (1814--61), was the sister of the noted singing teacher François Delsarte. Bizet entered the Paris Conservatory of Music in October, 1848, a fortnight before his tenth birthday. His teachers there were Pierre Zimmermann (fugue and counterpoint; often assisted by his son-in-law Charles Gounod), Antoine François Marmontel (piano), François Benoist (organ) and, on Zimmermann's death, Fromental Halévy, whose daughter Bizet later married. He won first prizes for organ and fugue in 1855, and he completed his earliest compositions there. Bizet's first symphony, the Symphony in C, was written in November 1855, when he was seventeen, evidently as a student assignment. It was unknown to the world until 1933, when it was discovered in the archives of the Paris Conservatory library. Upon its first performance in 1935, it was immediately hailed as a junior masterwork and a welcome addition to the early Romantic period repertoire. The symphony bears a stylistic resemblance to the first symphony of Gounod, first played earlier in the same year, and which Bizet had arranged for two pianos although present-day listeners may discern a similarity to ...
