PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!!! :) **Available in 1080p HD** Hey guys! :) Finally I have a piece on this song, been wanting to do something on this song for foreeeeeeeeevvvveeeerrr and when my friend Junay came down to visit me from Holland I knew it was time. A lot of the pieces I've seen to this song have been really house inspired and I wanted to break away from that and use more of the underbeats and show how diverse the song is. I also NEVER do floorwork, so I though it's time I challenge myself and incorporate some of that in here. Hope you guys enjoy it! Big thank you to Nick Vries for filming this for us! This is a video of Jitsvinger and Arsenic performing live at the Bush Radio studios. JITSENIC -- Combining Arsenic and Jitsvinger source: bushradio.wordpress.com Guitarist and hip hop artist Jitsvinger (Quintin Goliath), and hip hop producer and beat maker Arsenic (Gary Erfort)- collectively known as Jitsenic -- will again join forces on Thursday May 24, at Ragazzi ,33 Long Street, for a live set of experimental trigger rhythms coupled with a combination of rock, blues and Cape jazz. Audiences can expect an eclectic, though futuristic mix of experimental sounds influenced by home-grown Cape jazz pioneers, as well as the golden era of hip hop. The idea behind the music, says the pair, "Is to use familiar sounds, but to take those sounds to an unknown place while still relying on our skills to redefine the way that local music is created." Arsenic will bring to the fore finger drumming techniques and will trigger samples to create layers of sound adding to Jitsvinger's poetic rhythms and jazz-influenced guitar-fuelled performance. The night will see a special performance by Cape Town-based LnJ (Jill Levenberg and Razak Johnson) -- two theatrically trained poets, singers and songwriters. This is a must-see performance, not to be missed.
Sarcosuchus is a relative of the crocodile that lived 112 million years ago. It dates from the early Cretaceous Period of what is now Africa and is one of the largest giant crocodile-like reptiles that ever lived. It was almost twice as long as the modern saltwater crocodile and weighed approximately 8 to 10 tonnes. Until recently, all that was known of the genus was a few fossilised teeth and armour scutes, which were discovered in the Sahara Desert by the French paleontologist Albert-Félix de Lapparent, in the 1940s or 1950s. He called it the "Aoulef crocodile". However, in 1997 and 2000, American paleontologist Paul Sereno discovered half a dozen new specimens, including one with about half the skeleton intact and most of the spine. All of the other giant crocodiles are known only from a few partial skulls, so which is actually the biggest is an open question. Nikita Magaloff (Russian: Никита Магалов) (21 February [OS 8 February] 1912 -- 26 December 1995) was a Georgian-Russian pianist. He was born in Saint Petersburg to a Georgian noble family named Maghalashvili. Magaloff and his family left Russia in 1918 for Finland. His musical interest first stimulated by family friend Serge Prokofiev, he studied with Alexander Siloti before going to Paris, where he studied with Isidor Philipp, chair of the piano department at the Paris Conservatory. He numbered Ravel among his friends there, who, when he graduated in 1929, said 'In Magaloff a great, a truly extraordinary musician is born.' He was best known for his espousal of the music of Chopin, and was accustomed to perform the complete piano works in series of six recitals. He recorded the complete works - the first time anyone had done so. While these recordings have been criticised for their failure to plumb the depths of Chopin's works, they were innovative for their textual fidelity and unsentimentality. Magaloff, for example, preferred and recorded Chopin's own manuscript versions of the waltzes rather than the familiar versions published posthumously by Julian Fontana. His interpretations of Mendelssohn are also striking, finding a vein of melancholy that is often missed. Magaloff's playing carried the hallmarks of Philipp's elegant, refined style, though he himself rejected the sentimental interpretations of Philipp's generation (he was especially critical of Paderewski whom ...

My trip to South Africa was an experience that I will never forget! The footage that you see is just a small taste of what it was in front of my eyes. I could not capture the full essence of the the scenery. Seeing is believing! University of North Florida Chamber Singers took a tour to the Motherland, not only to sing, but to see where it all began. Enjoy the video!
