Quebec Passes Anti-Protest Emergency Bill 78 (CTV)
05/18/2012 Following months of unrest, the Quebec government passed emergency legislation aimed at putting an end to the student conflict. Bill 78 was tabled Thursday evening and debated through the night. It passed by a vote of 68 to 48 late Friday afternoon. The legislation is based on three main pillars: it pauses the current school year at institutions affected by strikes; imposes steep fines for anyone who tries blocking access to a school; and limits where, how, and for how long people can protest in Quebec. Critics argue the bill goes too far, infringing on basic rights, while proponents say it was a necessary step to restore order in the province. The bill provides for fines of between $1000 and $5000 for any individual who prevents someone from entering an educational institution. Penalties climb to between $7000 and $35000 for a student leader and to between $25000 and $125000 for unions or student federations. The new legislation lays out strict regulations governing demonstrations, including having to give eight hours' notice for details such as the itinerary, the duration and the time at which they are being held. Legislation slammed by PQ PQ leader Pauline Marois called the law's passing one of the darkest moments in Quebec history. "The darkest moment always comes before the light,'' Marois said in the moments before the vote. "It will be time to change the government soon." READ THIS::: Epi: Well, basically Michelle and Dylan finished it! xD hahaha Hot, hot, hot! :D Later, after the Equinox ended the others started to get ready to go back to the village, Emily is wondering abour Michelle and Dylan, but Sienna says that they're where they should be, feeling a ign coming with the wind. They go home. Later Michelle gets her breath back and thinks about what happened, not regreting and understanding that is completely normal and healthy. Dylan even thinks that she thinks that he used, but she interrupts him saying that thye both used each other. He smirks relieved, but before they can do anything else, Michelle stands up kinda in panic when realizes is geting late. She gets dressed and tells him to get dressed too so they can go back, so people won't notice they were gone. He rolls his eyes not like taking orders and they go, in silence. on the village Sienna and Emily make a lot of questioins to Michelle, who's nervous and almost runs to her room. The girls laugh knowing what happened between them. Sienna is hopeful about them two, but Emily says that it will be hard for Dylan to fall for someone... Michelle gets in bed, tired but all she thinks is about Dylan and what he did to her! xD Later Dylan is awaken by Elliot who also makes questions about him and Michelle, but he doesn't answer, glaring at his friend. Lift Off Beyonce, JayZ & Kanye West - Space Chimps Unofficial Movie Trailer HD.wmv
I first heard the song "Lift off" on Kanye and JayZ's album "Watch the Thrown" during late 2011. The song features Beyonce and she belts out a good note. Could not wait to see the video but it never came! So one day while browsing through my friend's DVDs, i saw this movie "Space Chimps", wtached and enjoyed it, then I and immediately thought of "Lift Off" as it's most suitable soundtrack. Mainly because of the "outer space" concept used by both the movie of the song, but also because of the three 'characters'. I am ofcourse aware of the societal uproar such a co-relation might spark, but I thought long and hard about my intentions and would therefore like to clearly state that: In no way am I suggesting that the Chimps resemble, equate nor are comparable to the Musicians mentioned. The relation was merely based on superficial similaries such as characters, sex (two males and one female) and the overall concept of "Space" in both the movie and the song. There is however a hidden metaphor (socio-political) in this video. See if you can figure it out. I do not own nor make a profit from the motion picture and music compiled. This viedeo is merely for personal amusement and artistic pespective and interpretation.
