If we go back to the Bible (Genesis) we read that Abraham is the father of Isaac (Jews) and Ishmael (Arabs). Both have the protection of their father. Chapter 16 (Genesis) "And Sarai, Abram's wife, had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar. ....You see that the Lord has made me infertile, I pray you come to my servant, perhaps have children with her ... And Abram cohabited with Hagar and she conceived ... "And the angel of Jehovah found in the desert Sarai fleeing abuse and the angel told him to multiply his descendants. Let your child be named Ishmael (who was circumcised). Gd subsequently granted Abram his son Isaac, which was a miracle. "And kings shall come from you." The Law was given because of transgressions and held us in custody, acting as our guardian until Jesus would come. Now that Jesus has come, we no longer need that guardian. The same promise that was given to Abraham, has been given to us. When we accept Christ by faith, we, too, become heirs to Abraham's promise. Because of this, all peoples of all the earth have been blessed. The Savior has come!
