I think you need to really love chickens (or little fuzzy puff-balls that "peep!") to get thru 8 minutes of a mother hens/chicks video. I'm such a person and hopefully this gives back to fellow chicken-ites - thanks to those who have shared vids like this, I've rocked my baby boy to sleep with many hours of chicken videos on the iPad that he's literally been "gaga" over (it's pretty cute.) After getting chickens 1 year ago, and loving it, two went broody so we got a dozen fertilized eggs for $5, slipped them under their fluffy bums on May 4th, and 3 weeks later: presto! Incredible entertainment and experiences for us and our children. Thanks for viewing.

This comes on the heels of several other disturbing anti-gay religious sermons that became viral on the internet, including one from pastor Sean Harris who told parents that they should hit their children if they begin to act gay. Every person on this planet has a voice, and we are all teachers; however big or small, each of us has a pulpit. These pastors choose to use their pulpit to spread pain, disharmony, and hate in the world. My social media platform is my pulpit, and I choose to use it to broadcast a message of peace, forgiveness, hope, and understanding—with the intention of validating the millions of gay people who live, love, and learn in both big cities and small towns around the world. People ask me if I'm Christian, or Jewish, or Buddhist, or another religion. And I say, "Yes, I'm all of these things." There are many ways to cultivate a relationship with a higher power, the Universe, God—whatever you want to call it. Religion, and stories of the compassionate people of our past are but two of these many ways. It was an extraordinary experience, where I got to sit with powerful elders and wise ones (ie Star Hawk, James Stark), dance to live music of all shades and beats, and see some of the most beautiful, other-worldly art. One of my favorite painters that I came across, Autumn Skye, combines sacred geometry and nature/people images.I could not peel myself away from her paintings- especially one particular owl woman painting, among many others. They were gorgeous, to say the least.
