Culture Clash is the Harare Jit band, led by ex-Bhundu Boys guitarist/vocalist Rise Kagona and Champion Doug Veitch (guitar, vocals), who is credited with bringing the Bhundu Boys to the attention of British audiences. The band is based in Edinburgh, and has performed throughout the UK. Although Kagona and Veitch are the listed band members, the line-up also includes drums and bass guitar.
This is the song Crazy Friends by a not world known band yet. They're really good. They're a funk rock band, but this is more of one of their reggae-ish songs. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING! ALL CREDIT GOES TO THE PEOPLE THAT MADE THE SONG! Bobby is the bass guitar player. He's the first ever in a band that does the slapstick style & the guy with the really cool dreads DJ Able is the guy with the glasses. He's well...the DJ and can definantly bring up anyones spirits Brian is the lead guitarist and amazing main singer who has played the guitar behind his back, not missing one note Jeremy is the awesome drummer who can drum a wicked solo BLINDFOLDED COME ON GUYS, LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE!!!

Certainly my all time favorite metal band, and one of my favorite funk and soul bands-Living Colour recorded this tune (penned by guitarist Vernon Reid and vocalist Corey Glover) in 1989-90 for their Epic 1990 album Time's Up (buy it-it rules). Here it is stripped to virtually nothing-hope I did it some justice; I do not claim ownership of any kind as it is not my original work. Check these dudes out, they all tour and sometimes together! I first caught them as the opener for the Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour in 1991.
"Listen To The Music" The Doobie Brothers The Midnight Special 1973 As one of the most popular California pop/rock bands of the '70s, the Doobie Brothers evolved from a mellow, post-hippie boogie band to a slick, soul-inflected pop band by the end of the decade. Along the way, the group racked up a string of gold and platinum albums in the US, along with a number of radio hits like "Listen to the Music," "Black Water," and "China Grove." The roots of the Doobie Brothers lie in Pud, a short-lived California country-rock band in the vein of Moby Grape featuring guitarist/vocalist Tom Johnston and drummer John Hartman. After Pud collapsed in 1969, the pair began jamming with bassist Dave Shogren and guitarist Patrick Simmons. Eventually, the quartet decided to form a group, naming themselves the Doobie Brothers after a slang term for marijuana. Soon, the Doobies earned a strong following throughout Southern California, especially among Hell's Angels, and they were signed to Warner Bros. in 1970. The band's eponymous debut was ignored upon its 1971 release. Following its release, Shogren was replaced by Tiran Porter and the group added a second drummer, Michael Hossack, for 1972's Toulouse Street. Driven by the singles "Listen to the Music" and "Jesus Is Just Alright," Toulouse Street became the group's breakthrough. The Captain and Me (1973) was even more successful, spawning the Top Ten hit "Long Train Runnin'" and "China Grove." Keith Knudsen replaced Hossack as the ...
