The short clip shown at the beginning and end of this video is all I managed to capture when a pepper spray canister exploded three feet away from my person. I slowed it down because I realised I caught the face of the girl I believed was hit with the full force of the explosion. I hope she is alright. I live in Montreal, Quebec. Home of the student protests against a hike in tuition. I had yet to participate in a protest until last night. Recently some laws have passed. Laws that take away some civilian rights if I understand correctly. I didn't expect it to be violent, in fact the people marching near me seemed very peaceful. So peaceful in fact that those with green squares were marching alongside those with red and suddenly I realized it was no longer just about tuition prices but that injustice has been born from the manner the students were being dealt with. I will never forget the taste and pain of the pepper spray which was shot as us with no warning and caused innocent protesters (Mostly photographers, like myself) to run away in fear while covering their eyes. There was a lot of running, which made it difficult to get good footage. I wear neither green, black or red square. I am just a photographer and I am very disappointed with the way the authorities dealt with such a peaceful segment of the protest.

Mario Tennis Open Match #1 - xZero / ZeroLegend
Time for some Nintendo Network matches! As a Mario Tennis lover, and as a person that loves online play, I decided to record my first time ever playing online in this game! Hopefully that'll explain how horrible of a player I am right now! My first opponent is my rival in all of my other games: xZero AKA ZeroLegend (part of the LegendsInOurFreeTime channel on YouTube). We just decided to do a short match. I won't say anything more, since I fear of spoiling how the match went, and that's what the video is for! As for my experience with the online play, it does run rather smoothly. It's not as smooth as Mario Kart or Kid Icarus, but it runs fine. When I search for random opponents, it doesn't usually take more than a minute or two, and I've only been lagged out once. I get button delay now and again, but I don't get it too commonly. Otherwise, I think the online play is fine! I'll do fan participation matches next week, and I'll be uploading matches throughout the week. Without further ado, thank you, and enjoy! ;)

You are a trend-setter. You are a differentiator. You are a catalyst. You make shit happen. You take your priorities and you make them a priority. You don't just talk about it. You get things done and you go after what you want. Remember the leaders, trend-settings, and people making things happen are usually going in the opposite direction of everyone else. Until you reach some level of "success", get interviewed by some newspaper, and package all those golden nuggets into a book of wisdom, they just won't get it. And that's okay.
