Another painting for my room! :D Sorry for the weird filming-angle... It's not that easy to film something you are painting at the floor with a webcam, but I hope it's alright after all.... Total time: ..Ehm.. an evening - So a few hours :)

A part built miniature of a strange forest landscape I've been making in my living room, it's quite alien and unfamiliar especially the final two minutes or so. On every level of the production process do new ideas and developments come, especially in the final editing process right at the end which is really interesting.

Starting from April, 2012, a new program series was launched within the framework of CCA's Encounters with Art program, dedicated to the 120th Anniversary of the founder of Armenian Cinematography Hamo Beknazaryan. This new initiative of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts was co-organized with Meliq Karapetyan, a leading figure in Armenian contemporary cinema world. The inaugural event featured the Day of Armenian Cinematography (April 16) and the second Armenian movie, Zareh, directed by Hamo Beknazaryan. The evening was opened with the welcoming speech of the CCA Assistant Registrar Armine Bachachyan. Afterwards, Cinema Historian Mrs. Siranush Galstyan presented Hamo Beknazaryan's creative work and the second Armenian silent movie, Zareh (1926), about a Kurdish boy, his beloved one and their struggle for happiness. During the second part of the program Zareh movie was shown to the audience, followed by a presentation of some interesting details about Zareh and Beknazaryan's immense contribution into Armenian cinematography, introduced by Meliq Karapetyan. After the program, the guests enjoyed a reception at the Star Landing.
