I don't own music :) Sorry for the short video, it's just a few clips of riding Zippy at home for the first time in two weeks because of rain! He was really super, so happy with his flatwork he's progressing so well :) We were going to go to our first show last week, but it got rained off which was quite dissapointing, but hey there's other shows! And I've started riding him in spurs and fitted a dressage saddle too him instead of the stock, he seems to like it much better and I find my position a hell of a lot better in it :) Boston's just chilling at the moment, I see him a fair bit :) That's about all haha - Claudia, Boston & Zippy x formspring.me/cib95

Video Sunday: I Can't Even Think!

We are Michael and Claudia Good and we have been, for the past 8 years a normal couple, with the normal 2 cars, a normal black and white house and the normal 2 income household. But we hit a wall... call it a reality check in the form of a baby. And now we are asking questions. Questions like, "Who are we and why are we here?" "What is our story, the story we are creating through living?" "Is our story compelling and remarkable?" "Is it meaningful and epic?" After asking ourselves these questions we realized we were living, but not LIVING!!!! We were striving for the typical American middle class mediocrity. And it was awful, unfulfilling and, well, BORING! Now we are on a quest to LIVE a remarkable story. What makes a good story? Think movies... your favorite ones. The best are about: -facing fears -challenging the status quo -exciting adventures -falling in love -overcoming the "impossible" -taking risks -beating the odds -returning to a firm faith in God And so, for the next 365 days we are going to purposefully challenge ourselves to do just that... live a remarkable story! We will blog about it daily and who knows where the adventure will lead! rise365.com

San Lorenzo High School 2012 Winter Rally, "Rebels Wish Upon a Star"

San Lorenzo High school put on a Winter rally on January 27, 2012. The beginning of the clip shows Charlie Chaplin giving part of his "Best Speech Ever Made" which shows the similarities from history around the world and how it still connects to the struggles people are facing today. The theme of the rally was "Rebels Wish Upon A Star" which is encouraging the students and everyone else to be the change you wish to see in the world for this new year. The rally showcased the winter athletes, academic 4.0 students, mock trial, staff, and special student performances.
