Yang Rui has threatened to sue for libel Charlie Custer, the American blogger who called Yang a xenophobe. Why does Yang Rui, who has an English-language program on CCTV, hate foreigners so much?

Protesters made headlines for such diverse reasons as ruining a wedding to police brutality. One of the largest altercations between cops and protesters involved a police van that drove through the center of a protest. Protesters and police gave reporters varying accounts of what happened.
