Pets are perfect for demonstrating the detail that a camera is capable of recording because of their hair. I really admire the Nikon D3100's video quality. It's focus ability is a bit slow, and full time auto focus mode (AF-F) isn't the best for video taping (I used AF-S). For the best video taping quality, I recommend stabilization equipment and manual focus. Another thing that I would recommend would be an external microphone, but the D3100 does not have an external microphone jack. Settings: Program (P) mode, ISO 100 with auto-iso turned on, AF-S Auto Focus Single (focuses when the shutter button is pushed in half way) mode, and Matrix metering. That's about it. I include goals being scored on me for the pure fact that if I showed you just the saves I made, it would get me nowhere close to where I want to be, I MAKE MISTAKES I am a student to the goaltending world that is ever expanding with improvements everyday. I Have never had a coach or a mentor help me with developing my goaltending abilities, I played on a High School varsity team focused on purely scoring with no attention to the goalies. I have studied the goaltending position since becoming a goalie in my freshman year of high school. I'm at a point where I won't give up yet because I know what I am capable of and my dream just isn't lost yet. Any help or pointers would mean the world to me that someone is paying attention and is willing to help me. I'm just 22 yrs old and have received many compliments of my play but that's as far as motivation has gone for me. I am working off the ice to improve who I am and any extra help like I said would mean the world to me. ***Notes*** -The gear I am wearing is the TPS Summit Plus goalie set, And I don't like the way the gear is after having it awhile. Taking stingers to the hand seems to happen more often and the puck has bounced out of my glove on occasion as well.
