This puppy is almost as fast as the fastest $1000 Gulf Town processor, for 1/3rd the price! It's performing flawlessly for me so far. I'm still playing with the overclocking, but some of my friends have gotten this chip up to 5.2 Ghz and beyond using just air cooling on the same motherboard I have, the Asus Maximus IV Extreme. I'm still playing around in the high 4s. The design of the Sandy Bridge CPUs appear flawless. I'm just bummed that they wasted all those transistors on a useless (for many of us), mediocre video processor. The "Cougar Point" P67/H67 Chipset problem is easily avoided. Just don't use the Intel SATA II ports on your Motherboard! No big deal if you have a good quality Motherboard with ample SATA III and non-Intel SATA II ports. How many people have more than 4 Optical and HDDs in their system anyway? The fellow who blamed the problem on the Sandy Bridge CPUs is entirely off base and unjustified...

Bump Dat Bumpty

This beat is from Tetris Attack, specifically the Ice Stage where you battle the penguin Bumpty. I have fond memories of Tetris Attack, as I used to be a beast after hours upon hours of practice(or should I say getting demolished by Bowser Chains). I had gotten real good in that game, to the point where I even was able to make it to Bowser once with the Very Hard code without losing once. I forgot whether I was able to beat him without dying or not, it was about 10 years back. I even got the spiritual sequel "Planet Puzzle League" on DS, this really is my favorite puzzle game, and I used to be even better on the DS one due to the stylus. One thing I always did like about Tetris Attack was the fact that when a player's screen was almost full, it would have that danger version of the stage theme, like Street Fighter used to have when a player is near death. In this beat, I actually start with a glimpse of the original, but the beat is made up with the Critical version of the song. Check it out, and I hope you enjoy!

This is the old-school trailer for the 1994 racing game, "Combat Cars" for the Sega Genesis. This was almost lost forever and here it is for your viewing pleasure. On a side note, there was a youtube account that I cannot remember the name of(its a girly account that had the description "don't ask me about the game videos, my friend uploaded them") that uploaded old game trailers for games on the Sega Genesis, SNES, and any old school console you can think of. Unfortuneately, the account was gone forever as well as the videos inside it, which is really a shame. but all I can say is, god bless whoever you are for uploading these rare old-school game trailers like the one on the video, its rare beyond words to find something like that, eh?
