I bought a keytar last week and this is my first attempt at playing a song on it. When learning to play a new instrument you should always practice using songs that you love. I quickly opted for a Radix song since I've been into his music for some 15+ years, come to think of it he is basically the reason why I started writing chip tunes in the first place. After a couple of days fiddling with the keytar and setting it up to play with my software synths I quickly laid down the backing track for my little remix of one of the best .XM's ever, "tpolmgirl", by the man himself. I remember the first time I heard this song, I was completely flabbergasted by the beautifully simple melody and I looped it over and over. I practiced for a day or two and then I simply set up the cam and went for it. I had to use a looper on the first riff since the notes overlap with the main chorus. I guess I could have just left the last ones out but I realized that too late and didn't have the energy for another retake. I know that this is not very advanced but I am still a beginner and hopefully I will look back on this video in a not too distant future and appreciate how much better I've become at that point. Playing a keytar is great fun, I recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in it :). I hope you enjoy my little take on this wonderful song.

Lyrics: 1st Verse: I'm a Christian/Do you know what that means?/It means I'm saved by the blood of Christ in every way/And I'm not going back to my life of a slave/Its a new day/A new beginning/A new name/TheVoyce/So pay attention to my transformation/Went toe to toe with satan/And my soul ain't for the taking/I'm breaking away from the chains/Awaken a nation enslaved/Not taking a break 'till I've gained what I've lost on the way/To salvation/The trials and tribulations/The pain/But God has taken them away/He paid the ultimate price that I couldn't pay/And for that I'm eternally grateful/What can I say?/I'm saved, I'm saved/And the reason I say what I'm saying: No hiding the truth/The truth has set me free/It could do the same for you/All it takes is a little faith in the One and only/Take one step toward God/And you'll never regret it homie/My Lord, I'm thanking you for what You gave me/I'm grateful for having saved me/Look how you made me a man/I'm no longer a baby/Wherever You go, take me, take me, take me/Even though I know I'll make mistakes/Cause I'm only a man/I also know that He'll always have an open hand/Of forgiveness/Cause His love and mercy have no limits/So whether I write it, say it, or sing it/I'll live it/ Chorus: I'm a christian/Do you know what that means?/I'm a christian/Do you know what I'm saying?/I'm a christian/Do you know what that means?/It means I'm saved by the blood of Christ in every way/ 2nd Verse: I'm a christian/Do you know what that means ...
