Chris Matthews worships Communist Saul Alinsky

For those of you unfamiliar with Saul Alinsky, he was a communist community organizer that lived from 1909 to 1972. He was influenced by Antonio Gramsci, an Italian Communist (The Frankfurt School) who came up with the idea of subverting America using its own services (ie: Public School system, Professors, the NEA & Universities). Saul Alinsky put Antonio Gramsci's ideas to work and wrote a book called "Rules for Radicals," which today is basically the playbook for the Democratic Party/Progressive movement. TEDxSydney 2011: Consciousness Philosopher David Chalmers

David Chalmers is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Centre for Consciousness at the Australian National University. Chalmers is interested in the relationship between mind, brain and reality. He is best known for formulating the "hard problem" of consciousness and for his arguments against materialism. His 1996 book The Conscious Mind: In Search of a Fundamental Theory was highly successful with both popular and academic audiences. In 2010 he gave the John Locke Lectures at the University of Oxford. These will shortly be published as his book Constructing the World. He also works on language, metaphysics, and artificial intelligence. www.anu.edu.au

Best Opening Credits of All Time

On this week's episode, they guys tackle the question, "What film has the best opening credit sequence?" Some obvious choices come up (Charade, A Hard Day's Night), as do some lesser known nominations, like Gaspar Noe's Enter the Void and the movie version of the Adam West Batman.
