Ahmed was born on 22 August 1925 in Garhmukteshwar village, Ghaziabad, British India. He obtained his early education in his native district. Shortly before 1947, he migrated to Pakistan & made the Punjab metropolis, Lahore as his abode. He completed his Masters in Urdu literature from Government College Lahore. Bano Qudsia, his wife and companion in Urdu literary circles who is also one of the best novelists of Urdu, was his classmate at Government College. After Partition, when he arrived at the Walton refugee camp with millions of other migrants, he used to make announcements on a megaphone ...

Orphan Support Program_Kashmir_HOPE
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "I, and the sponsor of an orphan, are like this in paradise (holding up his index and middle fingers together with only a small gap between them)." --Narrated by Al-Bukhari HOPE Foundation has organized a distribution ceremony in district Bagh (AJK) with the kind help, support and donations from ICNA Relief Canada and Helping Hand for Relief and Development. Education kits were distributed among 107 orphans. Each education kit comprise of school bag, note books, scale, pen, pencils, sharpener, eraser, ink pot, color pencils and pouch, while tokens were also issued among orphans for the purchasing of school uniform, syllabus books and school shoes. The purpose of this program is to reduce the suffering of the orphans and vulnerable children, build their capacity through giving them love, care, education, food, clothing, health facilities and simple activities to do so that they become productive in the society.
